  a polishing paste which produces a beautiful high finish with very
  little effort. Simply rub on with a soft cloth and rub off to obtain a
  brilliant luster. It makes chain polishing very easy

  tarnish, dirt and oils, and generally renews polished metal
  surfaces. It leaves a protective film which retards oxidation

  also great for testing the authenticity of Bakelite. A small amount of
  this paste is rubbed on the surface of the Bakelite with a cotton swab.
  If the polish turns yellow, the piece is Bakelite, if it remains pink,
  the piece is not Bakelite
• Simichrome works great on
  antiques, jewellery, guns & knifes, motorcycles, automotive
  cleaning, and other general home use. It is the perfect product to
  polish tool and die molds, extrusion dies... anywhere an ultra fine
  final polishing is required
